E-commerce Program

 

Program Description:

This will enable students taking the program to excel in a development-related position such as Full Stack Developer, Web Designer, Web Developer, Webmaster, E-commerce Developer, and Software Developer. This program will help build E-Commerce skills and Web development. Students will design, create and modify n tier Web sites using HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, Wix, XML, Java, JSP, Messaging, Tomcat Web Server, frameworks (Hibernate and Spring), JEE, Angular, Node JS, ASP.Net, MVC for C# Programming, Database: Oracle, MySQL, Microservices, AWS and Azure Cloud Services, Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Analysis (BA) and Agile Scrum. They will integrate Websites with other computer applications and convert written, graphic, audio and video components to compatible web formats. The program includes ample labs, quizzes, group discussions/ exercises, project work, and internal/ external internship opportunities.

SOC: 15-1251 Computer Programmers:

Create, modify, and test the code and scripts that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software and web developers or other individuals. May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
