Job seeker FAQs
How soon can I start working?
Job availability fluctuates on a daily basis. Once our application process is complete, you will be considered based on your preferences and your skills and will be offered appropriate positions as they are available.
What happens once you’ve matched me with an opportunity?
After the application is complete, you will interview with a PEAK staffing manager, either over the phone or in-person. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss what vocational skills you have and what your career objectives are. The staffing manager will discuss not only what specific skills you have but also inquire about your experience in job-related settings.
Once you have completed the initial interview, you may be asked to do some skill assessments to determine skill aptitude related to the opportunities you are interested in.
ITEXPS technical does reference checks with previous employers as well as other references provided by applicants. Once reference information is complete, you will be matched with opportunities based on all the components of your interview process.
What if there are no ideal opportunities for me at this time?
Great question! We come across a lot of great candidates who are interested and qualified for many of our opportunities, but the position doesn’t exist at the moment; that is why we created our Job Opportunity page. This is where we are able to showcase your talent (anonymously if you prefer) so that our employers can see what types of qualified candidates are available to start right away. To be qualified for our Talent Showcase, you must have already completed the initial application and interview process so that we can portray your information properly. We also ask that you sign a waiver so that we have permission to put your information on our website.
What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered? Is it all right to decline?
It is our hope that during the process of submitting your resume for a position, that we are able to give you the best and most accurate information, as well as cover every topic that might arise so that once submitted, you will feel comfortable accepting if offered an opportunity. ITEXPS is a people company, and one of the great value-adds to our candidates is the ability to give insight on a company that they would not have seen by simply applying on a job board. That being said, not every job is going to meet the expectations you have, and you may not find this out until you’ve interviewed in-person with the potential employer. If you are not interested in a position, you are free to decline, we only ask that you let us know the reason you are declining so that we can better serve you in the future.
What if I am on an assignment and decide it is not for me?
If you are on an assignment and find it is not going to work for you, we ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment allowing sufficient time for us to find a replacement, and we will try our best to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is key. We expect open communication from our field employees and they can expect the same from the ITEXPS Technical office.
What do I pay for your services?
As an applicant, you will not pay for any of the services ITEXPS Technical provides.
How can I stay informed about open positions?
Some of our positions will be posted on our website. You can also keep in touch with your ITEXPS Technical recruiters for the latest opportunities. Lastly, you can sign up for job alerts and update your information on our job board.
