Program Objective:

This program is very comprehensive and includes courses on Business Strategy and Analysis, Agile Scrum Master, Agile Scrum Product Owner, Scaled Agile, XP Principles, Lean, Kanban, JIRA, Database Management, SQL, Data Analysis, Visualization tools and Tableau to prepare students to become technically savvy Business Analyst.

 

  • MS Project /JIRA – WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), Creating Project Schedule, managing project tasks, resources and budget, and Gantt. Also uses Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, JIRA for Agile Scrum life cycle management

  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework for service selection, planning, delivery and support of IT services.

  • Business Analysis (ECBA/CBAP) – Requirement gathering from stakeholders, creating functional documentation, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Financial Analysis, performing gap analysis and providing sustainable solutions.

  • Business Strategy - Strategic Analysis, Formulation and Execution, Product innovation, LEAN Operation and Business Growth Strategy to be successful in competitive marketplace.

  • Data Analytics, Reporting and visualization using Statistics, Excel solver, Linear Regression, Predictive analytics, Forecasting, using Tableau

  • Database Management – ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram), Forward and Reverse Engineering, learn SQL Database and NO SQL Database.

  • Agile Scrum Master/JIRA - includes User stories, sprint, releases, backlogs, Kanban and queues, and all other fundamentals needed to run successful projects.

 

SOC:13-1082 Project Management Specialists:

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.
