How to Apply for MyCAA Training Program

IT Expert System is an approved MyCAA Training Provider

With MyCAA scholarships, qualified military spouses can receive up to $4,000 for professional career development.

Who Qualifies for MyCAA?

Spouses of active-duty Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, or National Guard/ARG service members in pay grades E1-E5, O1-O2, and W1-W2.

Our approved training program consists of a list of courses, all the programs are designed to support students and prepare them for a specific career path.

Students can customize the training program by selecting various courses from the approved programs.

MyCAA Program Introduction:

The My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship Program provides up to $4,000 to qualified military spouses for advanced education.

MyCAA is only available to military spouses on active duty in pay grades E-1 to E-5, W-1 to W-2 and O-1 to O-2. Those married to National Guard and Reserve Component members qualify for MyCAA when the service members are on Title 10 orders.

If you aren’t sure if you qualify, don’t worry! We will work with you directly to see if you qualify for the MyCAA program.

It is a WIN WIN proposition for both job seekers and employers.

IT Expert System Inc. (ITEXPS) provides the career specific trade education training and support to help individuals get trained and certified under the MyCAA program. All the MyCAA courses administered by ITEXPS are approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE). In addition to training and certification, ITEXPS provides career planning services, job search assistance, resume/ interview preparation guidance, project work and internship programs to make individuals succeed and achieve their career goals. These additional services are provided free of cost.

IT Expert was established in 2014. We have trained over hundreds of individuals under this program. We get students from various counties: Lake, Cook, Kane, McHenry, Will and DuPage counties. We have two training facilities at Schaumburg and Naperville and two more will be coming up soon in the greater Chicago land area.

This helps the individuals to select courses as per their interest and career goals.

  • Enroll and Upload Your Education Plan.

  • Apply for Financial Assistance.

  • Start Your Studies.
